This year, we won’t be able to gather at Bass Lake Park or Sugg Farm for the celebration. Luckily, the town of Holly Springs will still have fireworks that you can view online. See them at the town’s website or the town’s YouTube channel.

Events start with a flag raising at 10am and then a decorated car processional through Apex’s beautiful downtown. To add your car, you must register and must live in Apex or ETJ. Register HERE. The parade is not for spectators, can be viewed on their Facebook page.

Garner Fireworks

Garner Independence Day Celebration
Starts July 3rd, 2020

The town is hoping to create a TV program with Show N Tell Ministries. The show would feature Broadway stars, the 82nd Airborne Band, a Salute to the Troops and greetings from Mayor Ken Marshburn and Town Council Members, according to their website. It will be available at the town’s YouTube Channel.

If you’re in the area, aircraft will do a flyover Garner with a celebratory banner.
