Models for Charity helps support local charities with CLASS and STYLE. They have small charity events throughout the year and an anniversary event once a year. 2019’s annual event was a Black and White Gala at Chatham Station in Cary, NC.

Wine Walk for Charity at Lafayette Village
The 3rd Thursday of each month from March to October from 6pm to 8pm, Lafayette Village hosts the Wine Walk for Charity. The wine is provided by the various participating stores, restaurants, and service providers.
BrickUniverse LEGO Fan Expo 2019
The BrickUniverse LEGO Fan Expo comes to Raleigh each year in the spring. It brings fun and joy to all ages with models, LEGO miniatures and kit vendors, activities, and some really incredible displays. LEGOs aren’t fun unless you can play with them, so they have stations for all ages to build and design. There were almost as many parents as there were kids building cars, buildings, and space crafts. There was a carpeted area for smaller children, with larger LEGOs, soft toys, and large trains, planes, and cars. There was also plenty of seating for the weary parents at that area. For some of the older kids there was a building contest.
Niche Wine Lounge
This place is an old favorite of ours. You know those wooden signs with sarcastic messages about alcohol being a solution, according to chemistry? Well, there is no shortage here. Plus, if you are looking for some witty repartee with your bar companion you can choose some fun stumpers from the strategically placed Trivial Pursuit cards. If you happen to not be enjoying your companion, you can also do the same.
