🌳 The US has a deeply rooted culture of wood construction. It’s one of the most-used construction materials for single- and multi-family homes, and it’s also used for the construction of 8- to 18-story buildings! Mass-timber construction was introduced to the US in 2012 and has since pushed the limits of wood buildings.
🌳 Not only does it reduce the environmental impacts of new construction, but it also saves time and money by using local resources. What are the myths surrounding mass-timber construction and what do researchers say about them?
