How It All Began
Owner, Kelley Kennedy, has been a designer for 20 years. Before opening Teacup Floral in Garner NC, she started her journey at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Kelley then worked in the fashion industry and taught design at her alma mater before discovering a passion for floral design at The Flower School New York.
Shortly after, she interned for the luxurious Belle Fleur, handling the retail and events before breaking out on her own. In 2012, she left the big city of NY for NC to start her own company, Teacup Floral. Kelley’s goals for Teacup Floral are to remain budget-conscious, easy to communicate with, and on trend.
“I know this has been an extremely tough time on couples having to postpone their weddings and I just want to be here for them.”

Fresh Wedding Flare
First off, Teacup Floral starts from scratch, with each couple, to create an artful design that meets the vision of the couple while remaining affordable. They listen to their customers and enjoy working with a variety of unique couples. Kelley wants each couple to feel that picking out flowers is a fun and easy process. Ultimately, an impressive floral design can add a pop of color and make your day as elegant as you are.

Silky Selections
In our changing economic climate, Kelley is determined to change with it. She realizes that event budgets may be tighter and customers may need more budget-friendly options. In response, Teacup Floral now offers silk event rentals.
Similar in concept to ‘Rent the Runway’, these luxury silk rentals will give your event a beautiful upgrade for a fraction of the price of fresh flowers. Decorations include aisle markers, arch pieces, alter pieces and centerpieces, mixed greenery wreaths, garlands and large hanging installations. Alternatively, silk flowers are great for budget concerns, long distance delivery or travel, strict flower rules at venues or churches, all while being more eco-friendly. The designs can be repurposed and altered in a variety of ways from the ceremony to the reception. You can easily go from a classic crystal compote, to a rustic wood box, to the table, for a completely distinctive look that fits your event.
Award winning
One look at the photos on their site and you’ll see what makes Teacup Floral, in Garner NC, an award winning establishment. Look at those colors! As a result, Kelley Kennedy boasts her biggest accomplishment so far is their 180 (and counting) five-star Weddingwire reviews, leading to seven straight years of Couples Choice Awards. Furthermore, these mean so much to her because thses come directly from the clients.
If you need more proof that they are as talented as they seem, visit their site and call them to book your best day ever.
